15-Day Grand Morocco Cultural Tour from Tangier

Day 1: Arrival in Tangier – City Tour
Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival in Tangier, you’ll enjoy a short city tour exploring the highlights of this northern port city. Afterward, transfer to your hotel in the historic medina for the night.

Day 2: Tangier – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen
Depart Tangier and travel through the scenic Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen. Known for its stunning blue-washed buildings and relaxed atmosphere, you’ll have time to explore the charming medina before staying overnight in a local riad or hotel.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez
After breakfast, head to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the sacred town of Moulay Idriss. Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, to see the grand gates of Bab el-Mansour. Arrive in Fez in the evening and settle into your riad.

Day 4: Fez – Guided City Tour
Spend the day exploring Fez, Morocco’s oldest imperial city and cultural capital. Visit the medieval medina Fes el-Bali, Al-Qarawiyyin University, the Royal Palace, Jewish Quarter (Mellah), and artisan quarters. Overnight stay in a traditional riad.

Day 5: Fez – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert
Travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane (known as Morocco’s Switzerland) and Azrou cedar forest. Continue through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud, the gateway to the desert. Day 11: Agadir – Essaouira

Day 12: Essaouira – Safi – El Jadida – Casablanca
