Continue to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, where you’ll enjoy a guided city tour. Key highlights include:

  • The Royal Palace

  • The Mausoleum of Mohammed V

  • The Hassan Tower, an unfinished 12th-century minaret built under Almohad ruler Yaacoub al-Mansour

Later in the afternoon, drive north through the scenic Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl” of Morocco.
Dinner and overnight stay in Chefchaouen.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Moulay Idriss – Meknes – Fes

Spend the morning exploring the magical blue city of Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Stroll through its narrow cobblestone streets, admire the vibrant blue-washed houses, and soak in the local charm. The town is known for its traditional garments, with men wearing woolen djellabas and women donning colorful straw hats.

Then depart for the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and visit the nearby holy town of Moulay Idriss, one of Morocco’s most important pilgrimage sites.

Afterward, continue to Meknes, a former imperial city. Explore its historical sites before heading to Fes, the spiritual and intellectual heart of Morocco.
Dinner and overnight stay in Fes.

Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

Today, travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing the Swiss-style town of Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou, home to Barbary macaques.

Continue through the Ziz Valley, known for its palm groves and ancient kasbahs, and arrive in Erfoud, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. From here, take an off-road trail to Merzouga.

In the late afternoon, embark on a camel trek through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, arriving at your luxury desert camp in time for a spectacular Sahara sunset.

Enjoy dinner, traditional Berber music around the campfire, and a night under the stars in the heart of the desert.
Overnight in a luxury desert camp in Merzouga.

Day 4: Merzouga – ATV Ride – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Wake up early to witness a stunning sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at the camp, enjoy sandboarding and a thrilling 1-hour ATV (quad biking) adventure across the desert terrain.

Ride camels back to Merzouga, meet your driver, and begin your journey west toward Marrakech. Along the way, drive through the beautiful Draa Valley, past Berber villages and dramatic mountain scenery.

Stop for lunch en route and pass through Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” before arriving in Marrakech in the evening.
Overnight stay in Marrakech.

Day 5: Marrakech Guided City Tour

After breakfast, begin a full-day guided tour of Marrakech, Morocco’s vibrant Red City. Visit the most important historical and cultural sites including:

  • The Majorelle Garden, designed by French artist Jacques Majorelle

  • The iconic Koutoubia Mosque

  • The ornate Saadian Tombs
