Upon arrival at Marrakech Airport, you’ll be met at the agreed time and transferred to a traditional riad located near the lively Jemaa El Fna Square. Relax and soak in the atmosphere of the Red City.
Depart Marrakech in a 4×4 vehicle, crossing the scenic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit the iconic Aït Ben Haddou Ksar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue through the lush Draa Valley, known for its date palms and kasbahs, to reach Zagora. Dinner and overnight at a hotel.
After breakfast, begin an off-road adventure following the historic Paris-Dakar Rally route. Travel through remote Berber villages near the Algerian border and experience the vast silence of the Moroccan desert. Arrive in Ramlia, a small, authentic Berber village, for dinner and an overnight stay in a traditional desert guesthouse.
Continue your off-road journey toward Merzouga, stopping in Khamlia, the “black village” known for its Gnawa musicians. Share a glass of traditional Berber tea (whisky) and enjoy their soulful music. Reach the spectacular dunes of Erg Chebbi, where you’ll switch to dromedaries for a sunset camel trek into the heart of the Sahara. Dinner and overnight in a luxury desert camp under the stars.
Wake early to witness the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, ride camels back to Merzouga and freshen up at the hotel. Travel to Erfoud to visit a fossil workshop, then continue to the lush palm groves of Tinghir. Take a short walk through the dramatic Todra Gorges, followed by a scenic drive to the Dades Gorges. Dinner and overnight at a local hotel.
After breakfast and a brief walk in the gorge, begin the return journey to Marrakech. Pass through El Kelaa M’Gouna (the Valley of Roses) and the scenic Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Continue over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas to arrive in Marrakech by late afternoon. Overnight at a traditional riad.
