Your day begins with a morning departure from Marrakech at around 9:00 AM. You’ll drive approximately two hours south through the stunning Moulay Brahim Gorges to reach Asni, a charming town known for its vibrant weekly market held every Saturday. From Asni, continue to the mountain village of Imlil (at 1,740 meters altitude), nestled at the foothills of the Western High Atlas Mountains.

Upon arrival in Imlil, refresh yourself with a traditional glass of mint tea before meeting your local guide. Together, you’ll embark on a 4-kilometer mule ride through scenic trails towards the Berber village of Aroumd (1,843 meters), passing peaceful hamlets, terraced fields, and orchards of almonds and walnuts. Along the way, admire panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, including the towering Toubkal Massif.

At Aroumd, explore the village nestled on a moraine spur, surrounded by lush terraces. Afterwards, head to the nearby village of Achayne to enjoy a delicious traditional Berber lunch hosted by a local family, offering a genuine taste of mountain life.
