Errachidia is in eastern Morocco and is one of the main starting points for Sahara trips. A common option is to fly into Casablanca Airport (CMN) and continue to Errachidia from there. The distance is about 335.9 km, and the bus ride from Casablanca to Errachidia takes around 12 hours and 31 minutes.

When you book your 2 days errachidia desert tour, let us know if you follow a special diet, including vegetarian or vegan meals.

For lunch, your guide will take you to places that serve fresh, good-quality food. If you already have a restaurant in mind, just tell your guide and they’ll do their best to arrange it.

Add more fun to your  desert stay with optional activities. Try ATV quad biking, dune buggy rides, horseback riding on the sands, or a hands-on traditional cooking class with locals. The desert offers plenty of ways to make your trip unique.

The tour begins at 8:00 a.m. from any location in Errachidia. If your riad is easy to reach by car, pickup will be right at the door. If not, we’ll set a meeting point at the nearest road that cars can access, and we’ll confirm it after your booking.

At the end of the trip, we’ll drop you off at your accommodation or at the closest parking area. Most tours end between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., although the final time depends on how long you stay at each stop.

You can bring your luggage on the tour without any problem. There is enough space in the vehicle for your bags during the 2-day desert trip from Errachidia to Merzouga.

Luggage during the camel ride

For the camel ride, you only need to carry the items you’ll use during the ride in a small backpack. The rest of your luggage goes to the camp by 4×4, and it will be there when you arrive.

The camel ride to the desert camp usually lasts between 40 minutes and 1 hour 30 minutes.

If you want to skip the camel ride

If you don’t want to ride a camel, the camp can take you by 4×4 instead, and your luggage will go with you. You can also rent an ATV or buggy for an extra cost.
